When it comes to things that I do not use on a regular basis or aren’t part of my day-to-day existence, I am very comfortable refusing extended service plans.
But…when it comes to a highly specialized piece of equipment like an ID card printer, I’m just not comfortable taking that risk.
Once your standard printer warranty runs out, you are responsible for the evaluation fee as well as any parts and/or labor that is required to repair the printer.
