Available in a variety of colors, colored CR8030 PVC cards with high coercivity mag stripes are great way to add color to monochrome prints or to classify cardholder groups. Colored ID cards are 100% PVC and are ideal for most direct-to-card printers.
These CR80 color cards are 30 mil thick and measure 3.375” x 2.125”, the same dimensions as a credit card. Standard size CR80 30 mil color PVC cards are also known as CR8030 or CR80.030 cards.
CR8030 colored high coercivity mag stripe cards are ideal for applications where the cards will be frequently swiped or need to have a long life, such as access control and/or time and attendance cards. High coercivity mag stripes store information more securely than low coercivity magnetic stripe cards because of the higher level of magnetic energy required to encode them. This also makes information on color hico mag stripe cards harder to erase and more resistant to damage form most magnets or magnetic fields. These cards are designed for use in direct-to-card printer with encoding capabilities.
High coercivity cards can generally be identified by a black magnetic stripe; whereas the mag stripe of low coercivity cards is generally brown.
Graphic-quality CR8030 color cards are packaged in ten shrink-wrapped packs of 100, for a total of 1000 blank color ID cards, and are vision inspected to ensure quality.
