Fargo 82267 Ultracard CR80 adhesive backed PVC cards are a thinner version of the common CR80 card size, measuring 3.375” x 2.125. The most common use for CR80 adhesive backed cards is for printing with a direct-to-card printer and then adhering the card to a clamshell or other proximity/technology card. Mylar backed cards offer greater thickness then paper backed cards for easier feeding.
The Fargo 82267 cards themselves are 10mil thick and feature an adhesive back and Mylar backing over the adhesive. Before the backing is removed, they are 24 mil thick. Using a Mylar backing on the card makes the card slightly thicker then paper backed cards before the backing is removed. Mylar backed cards are a great option for those looking for 10mil adhesive cards, but whose printers require a thicker card then normal paper backed adhesive cards.
Note: This product is not compatible with Magicard printers. Magicard printers require the use of M3610-054B adhesive backed cards.
Remember: If you’re placing these cards on pre-slotted access control cards, you will need a slot punch to render a matching hole in the adhesive-backed PVC card. Slot punching should be done AFTER printing to avoid damage to your printhead. See our Slot Punches section for options.
Note:10 mil cards may be too small to feed into some card printers. Please check your card printers specifications. If you are unsure if your card printer is capable of printing on CR80 cards, call us at (866) 433-9737.
